Flagler Hospital is pleased to announce that the main lobby has reopened. The lobby was under construction for several months as part of an overall facility enhancement project to provide more comfortable and home-like surroundings for patients and families, which are proven to reduce anxiety and facilitate healing.
"Our new lobby, which offers improved climate control, enhanced access for patient drop off and pick up, and a more serene entry into our hospital is another way we are helping patients and their families feel at ease during their time with us," commented Flagler Hospital President & CEO Joe Gordy. "We appreciate the understanding and support our patients and visitors exhibited during the construction phase, which required the relocation of several services. Our mission is to provide the best patient experience with the best staff and we strive to do so in every way."
Flagler's on-site outpatient laboratory service, which was moved during construction, will remain in the outpatient surgery area, but all other services have returned to their original locations.
