    Physician Bio

    Dr. Dieguez was born in Cuba and came to the USA as a child in 1964. He is fluent in English and Spanish. He is a graduate of Santiago de Compostela School of Medicine in Spain, and later trained at John Hopkins affiliated hospital in Baltimore, Maryland; and at University of Miami School of Medicine. He is an Anesthesiologist and has been in practice in St. Augustine, Florida since 1988. At our office facility we treat a variety of common musculoskeletal conditions without surgery, mainly utilizing precision guided injections using the most advanced guidance equipment such as Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound. We pride ourselves in being the first facility in St. Augustine and St. Johns County providing Stem Cell Therapy for arthritic and other musculoskeletal conditions; and harvesting stem cells from adipose tissue, bone marrow and peripheral blood. We also provide Prolotherapy treatment. Dr. Dieguez is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management. In his constant pursuit to increase our armamentarium to treat his patients, Dr. Dieguez also trained at the University of Miami Department of Complementary Medicine in the ancient art of Medical Acupuncture. He feels honor to have learned this modality under the tutelage of the distinguished Chinese Professor Dr. Fu Di, now Vice President of prestigious Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

    Among the conditions that we treat are: sciatica, spinal stenosis, back strain, Filed Back Syndrome, tailbone discomfort, herniated disc, spine fractures, arthritic joints, hip bursitis, rotator cuff tear, tennis elbow, golfers elbow, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, trigger finger, trigger thumb, intercostal neuritis, arthritis, sacroilitis, diabetic neuropathy, plantar fascitis, shingles, post herpetic neuralgia.

    Dr. Dieguez serves or has served in different capacities or committees on the Florida Academy of Pain Medicine, FMA, Flagler Hospital and Florida Department of Health.
