The Clark and Alice Alger Tranquility Garden
Be A Part of the Legacy
Opened January 23, 2009
Alice and Clark Alger had a vision to create a quiet and serene environment where Flagler Hospital patients, families and employees could reflect, meditate and relax. Their generous gift, to fund the initial construction of a tranquility garden, transformed their vision into reality.
Imagine a garden where a patient, recovering from an illness, can sit for a while and relax outside of the four walls of a patient room. Or where a family can sit and wait for their loved one to come out of surgery. The tranquility garden offers shade, along with beautiful colors and fragrances. Ultimately, the garden offers a restful retreat where people can...
hope... dream... and find peace of mind.
You can be a part of this legacy. The garden is funded by donations to the Flagler Health Care Foundation. Gifts designated for the tranquility garden are used solely and specifically to sustain and enhance this beautiful tranquil retreat.
A limited number of naming opportunities are available. Honor a loved one with a custom water feature, large pergola, small pergola or outdoor furniture.
This is a wonderful opportunity and a symbolic way to honor or pay tribute to an individual or organization. Celebrate a graduation, marriage or anniversary. Honor a new baby. Remember a loved one. The possibilities are endless. For more information on special naming opportunities, call Flagler Health Care Foundation at 904-819-4690.
