It accepts charitable contributions to advance the quality and availability of health care services that Flagler Hospital provides to residents and visitors of Northeast Florida.

Make a difference
The best gift is the one that is beneficial to the hospital and most convenient for you, the donor. All gifts, both big and small, help the hospital maintain its high level of excellence and are generally used where they are vitally needed. Gifts may be designated for projects such as The Heart Center, Cancer Center, building and expansion projects, or other area of interest. The best gift for you to give may be listed below.
The Horizons Club
The Horizons Club is our means of encouraging gifts and recognizing annual donors. The mission of this club is to promote gifts by honoring donors and connecting them with Flagler Hospital and with one another to build a strong, positive base of annual support. Horizon Club members are recognized at various levels beginning at $100 on the Horizon Club Wall.
The 1889 Society
The 1889 Society encourages major gifts and recognizes cumulative lifetime gifts. The Society honors our most loyal supporters who have made cumulative gifts beginning at $10,000, and Society members are also recognized on the 1889 Society Wall.
The Anna G. Burt Legacy Society
Planned gift donors who have chosen to make an impact with their gift beyond their lifetime are recognized through the Anna G. Burt Legacy.

Gift of Cash
Cash, check or credit card donations are always valuable contributions and are put to good use immediately.
The Foundation presents special events year round with opportunities for sponsorship and ticket purchases.
Gifts in Kind
Certain in-kind gifts provide materials and services we would otherwise have to purchase.
Gift pledges over a selected period of time, particularly for multiple years, provide the advantage of advanced planning for both the donor and the Foundation. We are glad to provide reminders for pledge payment if requested by the donor.
The Foundation seeks critically needed philanthropic support annually from individuals, businesses, corporations and foundations.
Memorials and Tributes
A memorial or tribute gift is a thoughtful way to honor loved ones and others who have enriched your life. Memorial gifts are acknowledged to the donor family, and tribute gifts are acknowledged to both the honoree and the donor.

Gifts of Appreciated Property
Appreciated securities, real estate and certain types of personal property may increase the value of your gift by allowing you to deduct the current fair market value of your donation.
Planned and Deferred Gifts
Bequests, charitable annuities and trusts, and life insurance gifts allow donors to maximize the size of their gift. At the same time, they may also provide tangible benefits for the donor in the form of tax deductions and/or life income. Such gifts are important to the Foundation because they enable us to plan for the future, knowing we will have support from gifts planned in the past. The most permanent gift is the one of endowment which continues to give long after the contribution is made. Named funds may be created at specific financial levels, and gifts also may be added to existing endowment funds. The income from endowments helps the hospital meet the needs of today and tomorrow.
