Flagler Hospital Gains Approval to Establish a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Flagler Hospital announced today that the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) has approved its certificate of need application to establish a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at its facility located in St. Augustine, Florida.   A level II nursery provides advanced monitoring and clinical services for premature and ill infants requiring specialized care.  The facility will feature advanced technology, board-certified neonatologists and specially trained staff who tend infants 24 hours a day.

Community Hospice & Flagler Hospital Announce Plans for New Inpatient Center for St. Johns County
Community Hospice of Northeast Florida and Flagler Hospital announced plans today for a new state-of-the-art hospice inpatient care center to be built on the Flagler Hospital campus in St. Augustine. The new 12-bed hospice inpatient unit will serve the short-term, acute end-of-life care needs for residents of St. Augustine and St. Johns County.
