Alice and Clark Alger had a vision to create a quiet and serene environment where Flagler Hospital patients, families and employees could reflect, meditate and relax. Their generous gift, to fund the initial construction of a tranquility garden, transformed their vision into reality.
Imagine a garden where a patient, recovering from an illness, can sit for a while and relax outside of the four walls of a patient room. Or where a family can sit and wait for their loved one to come out of surgery. The tranquility garden offers shade, along with beautiful colors and fragrances. Ultimately, the garden offers a restful retreat where people can...
hope....dream...and find peace of mind.
The garden is funded by donations to the Flagler Health Care Foundation.
