About Flagler Hospital
Rich history mixed with innovative technology is an integral part of Flagler Hospital in historic St. Augustine, Florida. In November of 1991, Flagler Hospital joined with St. Augustine General Hospital, to provide one large community medical center for St. Johns County. This merge brought Flagler Hospital the leverage it needed to do great things. Since then, our private, not-for-profit facility has grown into a 316-bed, acute care center. Flagler Hospital is nationally recognized for its clinical excellence in our many multi-disciplinary areas of specialty. We continually strive to make excellence a way of life and it shows. In 2006, Flagler Hospital become Northeast Florida's only Magnet designated hospital, by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. We were also voted a "Best Place to Work" by the Business Journal of Jacksonville and won the "Top 100 Performance Improvement Hospitals" by Solucient. Healthgrades, Inc. has rated Flagler Hospital in the top 5% for cardiac care and the best in the Jacksonville area for overall cardiac care. |
