Flagler Hospital earned the Get With the Guidelines Stroke Gold Quality Achievement Award in 2015 by the American heart Association. This award recognizes the hospital’s commitment and success in ensuring that stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence.

Comprehensive Community Cancer Program (CCCP) Accreditation

Flagler Hospital is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Our program offers a full range of diagnostic and treatment services, participates in cancer related clinical research by enrolling patients in cancer-related clinical trials, accessions more than 500 newly diagnosed cancer cases each year. Has been continuously accredited since 2002.

National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers

The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers has recognized Flagler Hospital Cancer Institute for meeting 28 program standards and 17 components of care that collectively provide the best in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Breast Imaging Center of Excellence

Flagler Imaging Center has received this accreditation from the American College of Radiology. The Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE) designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program.

Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program

The Flagler Hospital Bariatric Surgery Program is accredited by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program by the American College of Surgeons & the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery. Only centers meeting strict standards with a focus on the overall health of the patient receive the accreditation, which is a joint program of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Accredited Sleep Center

Our sleep centers has demonstrated a commitment to the highest quality of care in the treatment and diagnosis of sleep disorders. In order to become accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, sleep centers must comply with the AASM Standards for Accreditation, the gold standard for patient care in the sleep medicine field. These requirements incorporate the latest advances in sleep medicine and guarantee quality care to meet the needs of patients and referring physicians.

Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI

Flagler Hospital has been an accredited Chest Pain Center since 2010. Hospitals awarded this designation have Primary PCI available 24/7 every day of the year. This means they have a call team made up of the cardiac cath lab staff and an interventional cardiologist who arrive to the facility within 30 minutes of STEMI activation.

Healthcare's Most Wired Hospital

Hospitals & Health Networks sponsors the annual Most Wired Survey, which is an industry-standard benchmark study. The survey is designed to measure the level of IT adoption in U.S. hospitals and health systems, and is useful tool for hospital and health system leadership to map their IT strategic plans. Health Forum, an American Hospital Association information company, distributes, collects and analyzes the Most Wired data and develops benchmarks that are becoming the industry standard for measuring IT adoption for operational, financial and clinical performance in health care delivery systems. This is the second year Flagler Hospital has been named a Most Wired Hospital.

2015 Most Beautiful Hospitals

Solaint Health named Flagler Hospital one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospital in the U.S. in 2015.The hospital received over 4,000 votes placing it in the top 20. Flagler Hospital is part of a 75-acre health park that consistently ranks among the top 5% of US hospitals for clinical excellence. One of the first in the country to replace patient charts with Internet-ready laptops, Flagler continues its tradition of leading-edge tech with fully-digital operating rooms, a state-of-the art neonatal intensive care unit, and one of the world’s most advanced cancer fighting Adaptive Radiation Therapy delivery systems.

Innovation of the Year in Patient Care Award (over 150 beds)

Flagler Hospital was recently recognized at the Florida Hospital Association’s annual Celebration of Achievement in Quality and Service Awards for its innovative approach to emergency care. The event recognized caregivers, hospital trustees and hospitals across the state that have achieved successes in improving quality and patient safety, made significant impacts on their local communities, engaged hospital staff, transformed care delivery and increased efficiency. The hospital received the award in recognition of Flagler’s Physician First Emergency Care initiative, which has cut ER patient wait time in half and significantly reduced the number of patients who leave without receiving care.
